General Instructions

S.No General Instructions
1. The posts are purely temporary in nature and offered on a Fixed Tenure basis for a period of initial Two Years or completion of assignment whichever is earlier. This post is not against any permanent vacancy. This placement will not entitle the candidate for any regular/ permanent employment in BHEL in future and the engagement is only for the identified Project/ Assignment for the period stated. .
2. Candidates should possess the required qualification and experience as on 12.01.2026, and produce relevant original Certificates/ Documents at the time of interview, if called for. In case it is detected at any stage of selection process that the Candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria and / or the Candidate has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), the candidature of such a candidate is liable to be rejected. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/are detected, even after engagement, his/her engagement is liable for termination, besides any action or prosecution. Candidates not having relevant post qualification experience need not apply. Please note that post qualification experience should be exclusive of Trainee/ Apprenticeship Period if any. .
3. Candidates are required to submit hard copy of completed application downloaded from the website along with other requisite documents to BHEL as mentioned under the Section "HOW TO APPLY".
4. Wherever CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or Letter Grade in a degree / diploma is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by University / Institute. Proof of norms adopted by the University/ Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/DGPA into percentage is to be submitted along with the application.
5. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Persons with Disability /Ex-Servicemen / EWS category should submit by post self-attested copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority to that effect along with the application. OBC candidates are required to submit by post Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate in the format as applicable for appointment to posts under Government of India not more than one year old from the date of application to BHEL. OBC candidates are also required to submit a self-undertaking that they belong to the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer). The OBC candidates who do not belong to Non-Creamy Layer should indicate their category as 'General' only. Note: If any certificate etc. is issued in a language other than Hindi / English, candidates are advised to submit a certified translation of the same in either Hindi or English language at the time of interview, if called for.
6. Reservation for Persons with Disabilities candidates and Ex-servicemen will be in accordance with Government directives. As the same is on horizontal basis, the vacancies will be filled and adjusted in the appropriate category. The Persons with Disability candidates are required to furnish self-attested copy of duly stamped Medical Certificate in relation to their disability from Government Hospital or Medical Board attached to Special Employment Exchange for the handicapped.
7. Candidates should carefully fill up the category in the online application form and submit by post self-attested copies of necessary documents along with the completed application as required.
8. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 236/- is payable by UR and OBC (NCL) Candidates. SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the processing fees.
9. Candidates employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous bodies are required to produce "No Objection Certificate" at the time of Interview and produce relieving order from their organization in the event of selection.
10. Any important information including Corrigendum/Changes/Updates and information on selected candidates and general instructions during the course of recruitment process shall be made available either through the website or on the e-mail ID provided by the candidates. Therefore, candidates must provide a valid e-mail id and keep it active for at least one year, simultaneously tracking the website for updates. Shortlisted candidates will be individually informed through e-mail (E-Mail Id as provided in the application form) about the Personal Interview.
11. Candidates called for Interview will be reimbursed second class train fare by the shortest route from their starting station or mailing address whichever is nearer to the place of Interview subject to production / verification of train tickets.
12. BHEL reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge / reopen the recruitment process and increase / decrease vacancies, if the need so arises, without assigning any further notice or reason thereof. Posts indicated herein may be kept unfilled at the discretion of management.
13. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and / or an application in response thereto can be instituted only at the respective cities / towns (i.e. Bengaluru) where the Unit is located and the Courts/Tribunals/Forums (Jurisdiction Courts) at the location (Bengaluru) where such Unit is situated shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Applications which are incomplete in any detail, not legible or without all the required enclosures or received after the last date for receipt of applications will be rejected and no correspondence on this will be entertained.
15. The Candidature of applicants at all stages of selection process will be provisional and is subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Interview call letter to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been accepted by the Company. BHEL takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents, after the candidate has been called for Interview.
16. Candidates should be of sound health. On selection, their engagement will be subject to medical examination by Company's Doctor/Authorized Medical Practitioners as per BHEL Medical Attendance Rules.
17. Working hours shall be on shift basis as per requirement including night shift.
18. The requirement is specific to unit and no request for change in place of posting shall be entertained. Company reserves the right to change the place of posting as per administrative needs.
19. The service conditions of the selected candidates shall be governed by the terms and conditions specifically stipulated in their offer of appointment and applicable statutory provisions.
20. Indian Nationals only need to apply.
21. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
22. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates not invited / selected for interview.
